Londian Electrics owns about 100 members in R&D Dept., among them 90% graduate from Junior College and 10% have Master degree; Especially one of them is the expert member of National Electrical Instrument Standardization Technology Committee.
Londian Electrics R&D team absorbed a few of prominent engineers in electronic energy meter design, who company with Chinese electronic energy meter development and developed multi-function electronic energy meter with own Intellectual Property right. At the same time, Londian Electrics cooperates with relevant universities and research institutes at home and abroad to improve and strengthen its own capacity on technology research and development.

Laboratory

Londian Electrics Evaluation Centre established in March 2009 (formerly Central Evaluation Centre). It takes 300 square meters with 50 sets of test equipments whose total value is nearly USD0.6 million.
Evaluation Centre is divided into two parts: Performance Lab and Function Lab. Evaluation Centre can independently finish most of the electronic energy meter type test described in IEC62052-11-2003, IEC62052-21-2003 and IEC62053-22-2003. Londian Electrics will be devoted to design and develop new products which meets management demand of modern electric power enterprises.
